The Clara Piano Trio

The Clara Piano Trio was formed in the fall of 2015, and was quickly engaged to perform in a number of venues in the North Central Connecticut area. Its members had previously performed together and enjoyed playing with each other so much they decided to make the group official. All three of the performers teach at a high level alongside their performing careers. The trio is named after Clara Schumann, the wife of pianist and composer Robert Schumann, who enjoyed equal success as a pianist and some success as a composer.
